Welcome to Aylesbury Sai Centre

About Us:

The Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Aylesbury (or more commonly known as Aylesbury Sai Centre) was officially inaugurated in July 2017. This centre falls under Region 3 and is affiliated to Sathya Sai Organisation(UK). This applies to all reference to Sri Sathya Sai Organisation (UK) We are a growing group of devotees meeting once a month on the third Saturday in the centre of Aylesbury for multi faith prayers and bhajans, focused on Bhagavan Sathya Sai Baba and His teachings.

As a new Centre, we are in the process of establishing different wings including a service wing and a Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) wing.

We welcome new members, including families and children, and all are welcome to attend our meetings

Humble Beginnings...

In the year 2016 during Christmas prayers, a group of devotees meeting at a residence for prayers for world peace, prayed to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba to bless them to open a Sai Centre in Aylesbury in a venue and at a time accessible to all. The target date for the opening of the Centre was set for the Gurupoornima eve in the month of July 2017. Activities began in earnest, looking for premises. Ideas on how the altar should look, the bhajan format, etc. were discussed, whilst praying ardently to Swami to will the Centre opening. Divine intervention prevailed as everything that was needed for the Aylesbury Sai Centre was donated by devotees. Devotees from within and outside Sai centres around the region volunteered their services and offered items for the Centre without being asked – In true Sai Spirit. After visiting multiple venues, we found the ideal site – the Aylesbury Vale multiculture centre. On 16 July 2017, the first bhajans were held at the Aylesbury Sai Centre at the Aylesbury Vale multiculture centre. All activities leading to the Centre opening were executed with precision, further confirmation that the Divine hand was at play.
